Stayed at the Gold Coast for a conference. I haven't cut my hair in 2 months because I was growing it out for a different style. I saw the sign for the Barbershop on the way to the elevators and decided to check the place out. Unfortunately, it was closed on Sunday and I had to wait until they opened on Tuesday. I looked up the reviews on Yelp, decided to be patient, and wait for the next few days.
Come Tuesday, I rushed out of my conference and arrived at the Barbershop soon before it closed. Then, I asked for Bong (from the Yelp reviews). Blurry fades. Crisp lines. He knows how to cut. I asked for a low-taper undercut, and he cut it perfectly. He took his time and made sure everything was even, clean, and the hair fell correctly.
I cut hair too and have been cutting my own hair for who-knows-when, but I didn't have any of my tools when I needed to look my best at the conference. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I'm in town and need a cut, even if I'm not staying at the Gold Coast.
