My previous review was somewhat negative reflecting the continuous evolving operations of casinos, their dominance and control of Las Vegas. Yes there are the daily comedy and continual variety and musical contractual performers that are offered thru Fillaseat and similar organizations. Another writer here pointed out certain advantages such as cancellation in case of a persons need which are good things. I had to attend a family death and other issues out of state and notified FaS if there was anyway to put my membership on hold. They had no provision but did graciously add 3 months to my account. WOW I thanked them including a comment about it reminding me of the old Las Vegas when the average customer was valued and received excellent treatment. In attending the Gordie Brown show, a very good show for my wife and myself, whom has his own longtime band members, at the Golden Nugget we were seated on the front row. Couldn't have any better seats. We would pay for those tickets. As a local a few of these shows can be gotten by dealing directly with the showroom due to them needing audience for the performer(s). All of us have different tastes and opinions which reflect some degree of bias when we write a review. Then as I previously mentioned, FaS can only offer members what they are able to acquire from our ever changing corporate management of these casinos and businesses. Now MGM Resorts will be charging for parking at its properties except Mirage and Circus. Seems they will get more money from wherever they can think we will pay. There are a few million of us here so you have to be quick to get the good available shows when posted. B shows like Shena Easton, Tracey Lawrence and others were not hard to get. I had to leave the Friday Earl Thomas Conley was to perform but I could have gotten those tickets. I paid my membership thru LS and just going to 3 shows will more than pay for the membership. I regret my 2 stars and maybe 4 is warranted but I say definitely a solid 3 1/2 is my fair rating. The costs and efforts to FaS isn't known but staffers I'm sure work hard and don't see many compliments. They deserve our support. I know something of the Show Business and its not all that great. Like you don't want to actually look in the kitchen of where you eating an expensive meal at a fine dining restaurant. Think of if we did not have this service available. I don't reply in print often but do owe the community a fair reply when I realize my rudeness to others who want substance when making a decision to buy a product or attend an event or function.
