L Marie's is a diamond in the rough! I have been getting microdermabrasion and peels with her and her staff for over a year now. She and her staff have always been so sweet and courteous and caring. My skin is extremely sensitive and I've had allergic reactions to nearly everything I've ever tried to help it. Not with L Marie though. My skin has had drastic improvements over this last year. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my skin the way she does.
I was really shocked by some of the reviews I read here. I've seen and heard customers be completely hateful over circumstances that are not within their control and I've never seen anyone there respond with anything but sincere kindness with every effort to rectify whatever the situation may be.
I also saw a review of someone complaining about them not having a full time receptionist. This a small, quaint business with a very relaxing, soothing and intimate environment. This is not a hotel or a chain spa with phones ringing off the wall all day. There is no need to pay someone from 9-6 to sit there for 90% of the day and do absolutely nothing. If you call during business hours and get the voicemail, it's because they are all with clients and I assure you they will return your call before they leave for the day.
If you are looking for a superficial, gimmicky chain spa with tons of traffic in and out all day, this is not the place for you. But if you'd like to escape for a few moments from the chaos of life and get completely pampered in a calm, serene environment, this is definitely the place for you! Oh and I also must say that the fruit infused water she has in the waiting area is the best and so refreshing. You must try it when you go!
