PVSEC ... it seems review run from very good experiences to very bad ones without much in between. My friend and I were blessed to have a great experience. Her dog Katie has torn ligaments in both back legs, leaving her with much pain and limitations. Being only four, we knew that in time she would become immobile- so sad - so the choice was to replace her joint with a prosthetic, steel joint. Everyone who worked there seemed to love animals. Everything was totally explained, from beginning to end. After surgery, we learned that through the night, Katie was distraught and anxious. A tech actually got into Katie's cage and soothed with her until an anti anxiety med took effect. The only negatives: the procedure was very expensive (prob is everywhere), and it is difficult to actually meet with the doctor after surgery. Nurses relayed all necessary info, but doctors spent the days in surgeries(the place was packed with pets with surgical needs). I would not hesitate to recommend PVSEC.
