Ok ... I'm just seeing all these negative reviews on this company. Let me tell you my deal w/ this company. Tuesday I found out I had to have my whole entire 5 bedroom house emptied by WEDNESDAY at MIDNIGHT. Talk about last minute! On my way to the airport (I am in NY now) I called city movers and spoke to a representative by the name of Brady. Brady was not only courteous but very sympathetic to my dilemma. By the time I reached the airport he had a tentative quote and assured me that the movers would be at my house between 2-5pm to start packing up and moving my personal belongings out. Brady must have felt my anxiety level bec he even gave me his cell number to call if there was any problems. The movers showed up at 4 pm with MIGUEL as head of the moving crew. They packed up my all my furniture which included an antique baby grand piano with great care and efficiency. When it got close to midnight, MIGUEL moved the rest of the things I was taking outside bec the new owners were locking up house at exactly midnight, and continued to pack the rest of my things and load the truck. He was careful with my belongings and came prepared. I could not believe that MIGUEL had followed through til the end. We were his 2nd big move that day. MIGUEL finally finished packing and loading past 1 am. My husband and I were completely grateful to this man who busted his rump to get my things out of the house before Midnight. He even kindly refused a monetary tip from us for his dedication to this move. Kudos to this man, because he definitely earned our respect last night. If MIGUEL's boss reads this, you should be proud because MIGUEL did right by your company. Do We recommend this company ... ABSOLUTELY!!!
