Went on Saturday 2-13-16 at 5pm for an appointment with a very nice lady to get our taxes done. We've been coming to this location for 4 years or so to this location on Desert Inn & Pecos tucked back behind a gas station next to Albertson's. They have recently remodeled and the place looks great now with individual cubicles for privacy. We were in and out in about an hour and our tax preparer was incredibly kind and professional. It was $223.50 for them to prepare and file our taxes for us, married filing jointly. I prefer having my taxes prepared by a professional over trusting a free online service because it gives me peace of mind. My only constructive criticism to give is that maybe H&R Block should have some kind of dress code...I mean it's an office....and I'm paying $200 to have a service done. Even people who work at banks have to dress up. Your spaghetti-strap tie-dyed maxi dress is lovely but I don't know if it's suitable for an office environment. Unfortunately we were not one of the lucky winners. Between January 16 and February 19 H&R Block is giving away a million dollars a day. A total of 32,000 people will win a combined $32 million. Our tax lady said 12 people have won in Las Vegas so far! How cool is that?
