I've been getting my shoes from Cadence Running Company for several years. The first time I visited, I was really impressed with the time the salesman spent in helping me understand my pattern of running, and find a shoe that would work best for the way my body is built, to create minimal negative impact on my joints in the long run. Even though I was interested in a more expensive shoe, they wanted me to buy the one that was right for me, even though they'd make less profit for themselves. In addition to selling me the right shoe, they even told me about opportunities to run with others. I was really impressed with the service!
But I think the best test of a company's worth, is to see how they behave during a time of adversity. I had an issue with a pair of shoes I had purchased, and had to address it with the company. The owner listened to my issue, addressed it with the shoe company, and made sure to remedy the problem. Issues are always bound to happen at some point in life, and it was really great that this company went above and beyond to work through them with us.
I now fully trust this company. They have their customers' best interest at heart and go the extra mile to make things right.
