I should start by saying that I'm not a fan of Boba. I want to be, especially with it so available all over Las Vegas, but I just can't get over the texture. Alas, I will try it again and again, hoping that my mind will change. One of my girlfriends and I were out running errands and she wanted Boba, so we headed to Chewy. It's located near UNLV with lots of parking. I love the theme. Star Wars?! Are you kidding?! Boba or no boba, I'm a fan already. Chewy taught me that you don't have to add Boba to a drink! Call me a white girl, but here I thought that you HAD to get it. Lesson learned. I ordered my Taro Slush with none of the fixings and I was a happy little Chewbacaa. The drinks came out super quick and the are perfectly packaged. How they seal the top with the plastic film is beyond me. Perhaps Yoda is in the back working his magic. The Taro Slush was blended cold perfection and the most beautiful purple hue of purple. The staff is super friendly, the drink was delicious, and I'm excited to baby step my way into potential Boba-love with places like Chewy Boba Company on my side.
