CLT is an extremely busy airport with all the amenities you'd expect. The terminals are arranged in a hub-and-spoke format,which means you could be in for a long walk depending on your gate. The people movers come in handy for this. If you're not in a rush, stop and relax in one of the rocking chairs. It's really a nice touch in a hectic airport. Restroom facilities can get busy so plan ahead if possible. They are currently doing renovations in Terminal B which takes away from the ambiance and increases the congestion. There are plenty of dining choices, both in the terminals and also in the central hub / food court. If this is your final destination, enjoy Charlotte!
