One of the most useful hospitals in Calgary area. Specialized, and staffed with specialists. Useful.
Unfortunately, exactly because of the above and specialization on kids' troubles, waiting times are beyond atrocious - we literally going there ready for a sleepover, each visit is guaranteed to drag forever.
However, specialists from Alberta Childrens Hospital know what are they doing, and so far were able to help us each and every time. Thank you guys!
Plus - and real plus, given experience in the rest of the hospitals - people of ACH are nice. As in - kind, helpful, smiling! They are genuinely caring for the children brought to them by desperate parents, and it shows.
The only reason this review is not a five-star one, is their parking. Always, always packed and tight. You would be okay with a small car, but squeezing in a truck in these tiny passages may be a challenge.
But otherwise, it is our family' favourite hospital!
