Stayed for 2 nights in mid-January on a business trip. Perfectly fine stay and very nice hotel.
Pros:

Friendly staff and easy, fast check in
Room was clean, quiet and generally comfortable
Great fast room service - food arrived within 30 minutes and was hot each time
Access to skyway system which went right to my office
Must have room card to use elevators
Hot shower! Was very refreshing and roomy
Easy checkout (via TV) and electronic receipt
Cons:
WAs hard to get a good amount of heat in the room. I turned the thermostat up to 78 but never really got the unit to throw out warm air.
Will be back in Charlotte again in a few weeks and staying here again.
