I had leased a new 2008 Acura TL and then purchased a new 2011 Acura TL. Both times it was a challenge dealing with sales but we got it done. Service was better especially on the newer car.
Fast forward to present. I received an offer to appraise my car and visit for a $25 gift card. But when I showed up last week the salesman Fred said there were no more but to call him on 4/20 and he would hold one for me. Called 4/20, Fred not working but told me to call Lexi. She called back several hours later to say no gift cards until May. I wonder how many they ever had?
So at the same time I decided I'd just buy new tires instead of trading it in. Called a gal in service who quoted me about $75 more per tire for the same one at Costco. Said she'd call me back - so far no such call. So I ordered them from Costco and told Lexi next time I'll just buy a car from somebody else.
