This is NOT your 'Mama's' facial! hahaha.
As I lay on the all-white ergonomically designed chair padded with lots of linen and a nicely weighted blanket (much like a 4* hotel bed, which was totally comfy, inviting, and like a big hug), I listened to euro-techno music blaring from the speakers all throughout the place. I was waiting for my double dose facial (a facial and a lower leg & foot exfoliation). She (my facialist) customized my facial to suit my needs and I enjoyed it all but one thing....I was kinda unsatisfied about the 'gentle extractions'.... and yes they mean GENTLE! I barely felt anything and I really don't think she extracted anything! hahaha As much as I like this 'modern' facial idea, call me a tradtionalists, old fashioned whatever but I still missed the boring spa music... to me it's soothing and relaxing. I also like my face to be steamed with a steamer, and I like extractions - REAL extractions. I don't need someone to wash my face & gently extract, I can do that myself at home. What I want is a professional to use their professional tools & skills to clean my face and pores. Doesn't mean that I won't be back. I'll prob try another facialist and see how they differ. I actually really like the idea of 'skin gym membership' for $500 you can get 12 fitskin facials or 8 facialiscious facials, just need to find the right facialist.
