--- Food --- I'm from Toronto and I frequently get bubble tea from Chatime there. My partner and I were craving some bbt in Calgary and tried it out at this location. I ordered the milk tea with tapioca and my partner ordered the taro slush with tapioca. I always enjoy ordering from Chatime as they offer customization in terms of the toppings (e.g. tapioca, jelly, etc.), amount of sugar added (in percentages), and amount of ice. The milk tea here tastes good but the tapioca was a little hard on the inside, it could have been cooked a little longer for a more chewy consistency. --- Atmosphere --- Don't expect much in terms of customer service here... The reason may be that the customer base is almost all asian as the store is located in Chinatown. --- Summary --- It is good to note that I am not able to use the Vicinity card from Toronto (points collection card). They offer another type of card that costs $1 and you get a free drink after 10 points (equals 10 drinks). In Toronto, the card is free and I believe you get a free drink after 8 points. I probably wouldn't come back again - I would try other bubble tea joints in Chinatown (e.g. Try Again).
