Second bad experience. First one was on 09/14 - purchased crab legs for husbands birthday, got them home and they were rotten. Went back and was given a gift card with my money back on it vs. just cash. Went to sprouts to get good crab legs to replace them after the crappy customer service from the hag at the customer service counter. Then on 02/03 went for groceries at 9pm because it is less crowded people are happier. By 9:30 I was done with my list and had about $120 worth of groceries. NO CHECKOUT LANES WERE OPEN!! I had to do self checkout and ended up putting most of my produce back. Then no receipt (check your receipts, the scanned price rarely reflects the sales price). The self check out lanes had lines going to them with many people with carts full of groceries. We all know how frustrating the machines are when the weight moves and it stops and makes you wait for the cashier watching to push a button. Try bagging a cart full of groceries on that! I was about ready to lose it!! At 945pm they dimmed the lights. The cashiers were standing around closing out registers and gabbing. They are opened until 11pm. I expect the store to be open, with at least 1 lane open! No one attempted to open a lane because they were all cashed out and closed. Horrible experience. I already purchase all my meat at Sprouts now because of the crab incident, now I guess I will go elsewhere for groceries. Safeway has nicer produce any how.
