Came here on a late Sunday evening and had dinner on the patio. The patio was almost full when we arrived but maybe half full by the end of our meal.
My friend had the wings, and I had a flatbread and we shared fries. I didn't think the food was anything special, but it was priced okay for the area. Based on food alone, this would be a 3-star rating.
The service is what brings it down to 2. Our server started off well - took our drink order and came back for our food order. After that he basically disappeared for the duration of our meal. Another person brought our food out. We had no cutlery. Had to ask the hostess for some. When we finished, we waited around and eventually had to flag down a different server for our bills. She went to find our original server to tell him. Eventually, he came back and I had to ask for a box for my leftovers 3x before he brought it. It seemed the servers who were working were too busy socializing with each other to do their actual job. There was also a group of people at one patio table all the servers seemed to know and they kept talking with them.
I would not come back here given the number of other pubs and restaurants in the area.
