Our usual Wildflower is the one in Goodyear. We went there a lot when we were dating and we make a trip back when we're in the area. This time, we were much farther away and spotted this place before we drove back to Tucson. We ordered a salad, a soup in a bread boulle, a blueberry muffin, and a chocolate cupcake. The salad and soup were great, the muffin okay, and the cupcake...ick. The cake part is nice, but it had been years since I've ordered one at Wildflower and I instantly remembered why. The icing in both flavor and texture is exactly like a can of Pillsbury icing. For almost $3, I expected something better. We got our food quickly though and sat in the back nearest the bathrooms. Our kids are both under a year old, so this seemed the best place considering everyone else dining there. We'd probably go back if we're on that side of town, but next time we'll skip the dessert.
