This is the most in adequately staffed Safeway/store in the entire world. It has multiple checkout lanes but at any given point of the day, especially the busiest times, there will only be one or two cashiers. The managers are always on the floor doing something and never readily available for the front end of the store. The customer service counter where you buy cigarettes, lottery, do refunds - will seriously stand behind the glass door which they think you can't see them behind and ignore you while you stand there for 10 to 15 minutes. That particular department also loves to tell you they can't help you. They constantly rearrange the store so you don't know where a lot of things are... It's just chaotic.
