Have been coming to this bakery for years, since I first opened. They are know for their Portugese Custard Cups, which only a few years ago where 65 cents. The custard cups are now $1.10 which is not bad, but the quality of the custard is no longer as food. The new custard cups are more like a gelatin cup.....nothing like custard now. Now not to say that the bakery is not wonderful. The decor is nice, the service is good with both wait staff and counter service. With regard to the pastry, I highly recommend the canoli which is excellent but expensive at $2.65 each. Just last year the canoli price was $1.75. It seems everytime I stop in the prices have gone up drastically. Right now the best value for taste and price is the tiramisu at a price of $2.60 for a fairly large piece. Another annoying thing is that none of the pastries are labeled with a price, which makes for a rude awakening at the register. I would rather know ahead of time. Other than that, great place! Good Eats!
