This was my first experience with this facility. When I arrived at the airport, I expected to find the car rental agencies on the ground level with the baggage claim area. I was quite surprised to see signs directing me out of the building and over to a shuttle area offsite. The shuttles were ready and waiting to take all of the arriving passengers over to the Rental Car facility. It was about a 7 or 8 minute ride where several rental car agencies are conveniently located. Some of the car rental companies were busier than others, but I walked right up to the Thrifty counter. Within a short amount of time, I had my paperwork and was on my way upstairs to pick up my car. There was an agent waiting for me in the parking lot and showed me to my vehicle. I was quickly on my way. At the end of the trip, I dropped off the car on the way to the airport. There was an agent waiting in the drop-off area, and he quickly checked in the car and gave me my final paperwork. I went to the shuttle pickup area where there were various shuttles waiting. I was greeted and provided assistance with my baggage and then whisked off the McCarran International Airport. The experience with the Rental Car Facility was smooth and hassle-free, which was much appreciated.
