We seem to have more plumbing issues than any other house related service. We've used three different plumbing services. I used Patrick E Chase Plumbing and he was spotty with communication and did an okay job. Then we used South Hills Plumbing and they fixed an issue that needed fixed 2 years later. Was this their fault or regular wear and tear, not sure. Then we used Mr. Rooter for a major emergency with our pipes in the basement and they were mega expensive and spotty with communication so I was ready to try another company. I called late in the day and they returned my call the next day, but didn't have an appointment until 2 days later. Our toilet was broken, but we have another one so It wasn't an emergency situation. The guy that showed up was super nice, professional and quick. I truly appreciate that he explained the issue and fixed another one that he noticed, which I truly believe wasn't an up-charge, but needed fixed. The cost was $185 for the two issues, plus service. Mr. Rooter quoted me $250, plus parts. So clearly this company was less... and Rooter came to my house and tried to convince me to just get a new toilet for $350+. No thanks! I will definitely call them again for non-emergency situations!
