It's like a taste of home. This is the real stuff. There have been a lot of poke shops that have opened up, but they're all "mainland-style" poke with no ties to Hawai'i. I've come to learn that if they offer poke in a burrito, stay away. No burrito-style poke on this menu. So, we are good.
It was 'ono. Just like the P?'ina Cafe back at Ward. I ordered the Hawaiian bowl with spicy ahi. Only bad part was when the bowl was empty!
The feel good island music makes the atmosphere that much better. Will definitely be coming back!
Tip: grab spam musubi for snack later.
