Omg! If I were a rich girl...I'd eat here all the time. It's not that it's over priced or anything but it is on the way from work to picking my kids up at school! That could spell d-a-n-g-e-r, stopping here everyday could affect my ability to maintain my mortgage and if I I didn't pay my mortgage, we'd all be screwed!! Or at least all those that depend on me would be! Heck, if you can eat out every day, Amen, you're blessed! Eating out is a treat for my family and I and we appreciate and are grateful for the places we are able to experience.
Speaking of experience, I'll get to my point...
I've eaten at the downtown location for breakfast and man, it's SO good. My daughter even thinks so. Well, I came to this "newer" location for lunch and Vegenation saved my insides from eating themselves. On this particular afternoon, they had this pop up lunch going...it's basically their special and not listed on the menu! Today it was a chimichanga burrito with soy chicken, rice, beans and guacamole. Look, I was only planning on eating half (I like to watch calories) but it didn't taste good, it was AMAZING!! Yep~ ate it ALL! Since I started to write this review, I've been back again and this time brought my picky Latina mamma! We shared the beer battered portabella mushroom tacos with the posole' soup, we enjoyed every bite! Gone! I can't wait to to go back and try everything else! Both managers I met were great and thoughtful, I suggested to Juan that they include a calorie count and he was receptive to the idea and said he'd bring it up to the owners. Both servers were really good too! I really hope this location does well!
