I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. Once I called to set up an appointment they immediately gave me trouble for the Groupon appointment request.
1. You cannot set appointments for same-day if you are using a Groupon voucher.
2. She said that upon arrival, you have to pay an additional $15 for taxes/tips that "are not covered in the Groupon".
When I asked why, she said I can go and get a refund for my voucher since they are unwilling to do anything about it.
If this business wants to make it difficult to use a discount voucher, they shouldn't advertise on Groupon at all.
