This was my first time traveling alone with my 4 month old.
Cons:
1) We stayed in a room facing the interstate. I was part of team No Sleep. You can hear ever semi. I turned on the fan and that helped a bit.
2) there was construction, so the smell of paint and dust was everywhere except our room.
3) I called down for extra towels and the front desk guy said I could come down and get extra....I have a 4 month old. Even though I told him that he was still like, no, you come get them.
4) fire alarms started at 10am and went off ever half hour. I panicked grabbed my baby and headed for the lobby. The manager was in the lobby. I asked if there was a fire. Nope! Just a broken system. I asked why they hadn't called rooms to let guests know....oh! The phones are down!
5) I asked for a refund. Manager Chuck offered me 50% off. No Chuck. I asked again for a full refund. He agreed. I asked for a print out of the refund. He said he couldn't give me one b/c there wasn't a charge. He let me know all charges would fall off within 14 business days.
6) staff didn't offer to help me with opening doors or carrying bags up to my room. I had my bag, computer bag, my 4 month olds items, and my 4 month old in tow.
7) I heard someone put down their toilet seat and flush twice.
Pros:
1) if you turn on the tv it plays relaxing spa music. I needed it after this experience.
2) bathroom lighting is great.
3) the closet is deep. I fit the stroller in there no problem. That helped with keeping the room clutter free.
4) Spinatos delivers.
5) no password internet
