I went to Cheries Dressmaking for the first time to get a bridesmaid dress alteration. She is kinda out of my way but I read some of the Yelp reviews and thought she'd be great, and she WAS! I gave her a call on Saturday and asked how long it would take for an alteration. She said that she does most of her fittings/alterations drop offs on Saturday and asked if I could come by that day being Saturday. I got there and found two other women in line and even a few after me. Cheries sure is popular! She does everything from formal to casual wear alterations. When it was my turn, she got me to try on my dress and got the bodice pinned where it needed to. She's friendly and skillful. I trust her with any upcoming garments that might need altering. When I went to pick up my dress, I tried it on and it fits like a glove. Should look great on the day of my sister in laws wedding! I'd really recommend going to Cherie because she is a true seamstress. It's not like a dry cleaning shop that does alterations on the side and you never know what you are going to get. She knows how to fit garments properly to your body shape, takes them in, lets them out, hems, you name it - and does it all with confidence.
