I had a similar experience to James W. I also paid over $50 for the "speed" detail in addition to the wash, since I hadn't had anything special done over the winter. I specifically pointed out some spots on the roof of my car where tree buds had fallen during a recent rain and got stuck. So I went through the service initially, and everything looked generally okay, even though I could still see a couple of marks on the vinyl inside my front doors. (Do not expect attention to detail from this place, just a general wipe-down of exterior/interior.) So I left and ran an errand. It was only when I looked at my car during that errand that I saw a few spots on the roof were missed. When I took my car back to Octopus, all they did was run my car through a basic wash. In this case, my car was barely dried of, so I got to leave with dried water spots on my car, even though the roof spots were finally wiped out.
