Dr. Cox spayed my 14 months old Vizsla pup. She used Dermabond (surgical super glue) to close the incision. Dermabond is NOT recommend for deep incisions in high stress areas on high energy dogs. Skipper and the area meet all three no-no's
The incision opened up three days after.
Dr. Cox fix was to use four staples to again close the incision.
She placed only one staple correctly while the other three where useless. One had a leg on the incision and the other leg off to one side while the other two where 1/4 to 1/2 inch to the side and totally off the incision. 75% of the staples she placed where useless.
