I did not feel pressured. We ended up getting a fabulous rate for a 20 year at 3.5. Because we had over 40% in equity, over $1,000 in fees was waived.
We didn't have to go anywhere to sign papers. A notary came to our home in Seattle. Very easy and no nonsense.
Our mortgage was sold to U.S. Bank and we have been very pleased with them as servicers.
