Had two great drivers but the 2-star rating is for the dispatcher and the supervisor. Horrible attitudes from both when resolving an issue with a call for a cab. As we were advised to by our driver who took us to our destination, we called for a taxi for the return trip. A cab pulls up at the same time the call comes from dispatch. Dispatch quickly hangs up after we tell her we see a cab without confirming if it's the cab we requested. It's not our cab. We call back to be told that our request has been cancelled. Obviously, a mixup. Not a problem. What is a problem is the poor customer service we received in attempting to resolve the mixup.
After trying to talk things through with the dispatcher, my husband was told to "step outside of himself to see things from the dispatcher's view." Instead of trying to play counselor, how about "I'm sorry for the mixup sir, we'll send another cab right away?" Efforts to resolve this with the dispatcher deteriorated so we asked to speak to a supervisor. This was worse. The supervisor told him he had to put his drivers on hold to talk to him. Wow. As customers, we're SO sorry to inconvenience you. Doesn't your business depend on having customers to take to and from? Good thing your drivers believe in good customer service because the folks behind the scenes obviously don't care.
As first time visitors to Vegas, we didn't think it would be so difficult to get taxi service when you're not in front of a hotel taxi stand. Also, stop assuming that every customer is the same as the last bad one you had.
