So, we absolutely love staycations! This place was wonderful. Huge room! So much space! I didn't like that there were no locks on the bathroom doors, lack of privacy is kinda odd.
The little "kitchen" space was nice. Full fridge was great for bringing our own cold foods which we do for my two daughters bc they keep kosher.
The bfast in the morning was nice. It got more crowded than I expected and I felt bad for the staff bc of how many ppl could not read simple instructions on how to microwave their food, but the staff was very nice about it. They did a great job handling so many ppl who were either lazy or not so bright... Great job to the friendliness and accommodation of the staff.
The only reason it does not get a 5 star rating was bc outside each door smells of dog poop and urine! Their pet policy is too lax for me...it was disgusting and off putting. The second reason is bc of the amount of noise...i don't mind a little noise but the ppl above us were up all night banging around on into the wee hours of the morning. The people next to us were up very late and their kids were do loud we could hear them yelling and jumping around.
Luckily we only had 2 neighbors coz we were on an end room. I could not imagine if it were all 3 I would have left...as the thin walls were not great I don't know that I can fully blame the hotel for the rudeness of their guests...
We stayed xmas eve as we don't celebrate. It was nice to not be bogged down with all the holiday nonsense and over celebration that so many places try to incorperate. We didn't have to hear "merry xmas" over and over...except from some non observant guests
We would stay here again not on a holiday next time though in hopes that maybe I could change the review to 5 stars.
