After wanting to try this place forever, I thought is was just ok. I found the space to be dingy rather than quaint or casual. The staff was friendly and attentive. They offered a nice selection of Italian wines at a reasonable mark-up. My two dining companions seemed to enjoy their dinner so maybe I just picked the wrong entree (penne vodka). The sauce was average but the pasta was totally mushy and gross - a serious offense in any true Italian kitchen. I'm willing to give it another try based on all the positive reviews but would probably opt for one of the meat entrees next time.
