This two storey Indigo is really a staple to the plaza. Whether you're waiting for a friend to go to the movies next door, or heading out to dinner, this bookstore is a great place to kill time. I will confess, I'm not much of a reader. I love reading, I really do, but I just don't have enough down time to read! The down time I have, I reserve for sleeping. Even though I'm not a big reader, I have ambitions about reading, this year alone I've bought probably over a dozen books (mostly all of them through Chapters and Indigo) and finished maybe 2 of them. The thing I enjoy about this Chapters the most is the non-book section items. They sell board games, and picture frames, even baby clothes. It's an ingenious idea really, and I guess only a matter of time until they broke into other ventures. They also have a nice selection of high quality greeting cards, really artsy and cute. I saw some recyclable journals (made completely from recyclable materials), that were very small and compact. I think it would be a great thing to bring on my trip, but it was a hefty $20 for a small journal.
