This Orchids Chinese Restaurant has been around for many decades. They are now serving Dim Sum in the evening as well.
Last nite, we went for dinner, NOT DIM SUM as dim sum is only for breakfast and lunch in the Chinese custom. Were we ever so disappointed.
There were three of us and we ordered two of their specials:
Pan Fried Seabass -- fishy taste, no flavor, unappetizing look. A total failure. Grade F.
Filet Mignon with asparagus - strange flavor, filet is too fatty. Grade C-
The third dish is a tofu dish with seafood. What they mean by seafood is octopus. Minimal taste. Grade D+.
Service is disappointing, even for Chinese restaurant standard.
Very disappointing meal. Definitely not a place for dinner. We will not be back for dinner again.
