BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES AND SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!! We stayed here via airbnb in Oct. 2016 for 3 weeks while I recovered from surgery. First I'll tell you the good. The staff was nice/helpful, there is a small gym and the laundry facilities take credit cards. The bed was comfy and the 1 bedroom apartment was pretty spacious and comfortable. I also loved the gated parking and pet friendly atmosphere. The negatives on the property were that the pool was something I would never enter. It was cloudy and gross. I did find some bugs, but they were already dead so I'm sure they treat the place. The worst part is their business practices that leave you feeling like they are trying to rip you off at every turn. First of all, their ad boasts about 24/7 maintenance/management and claims 24 hour check in as an "amenity," but this could not be further from the truth. If you scroll down to the fine print you'll see that there is only 2.5 hours to check in (3 to 5:30PM - even tho the office is open all day) and if you don't make that window they charge you SEVENTY FIVE BUCKS!! So coming in at 2PM on a Tuesday will cost you $75. This makes no sense whatsoever and at the time the listing made no mention of how high the fee was (they changed that after my complaints, but still hide it in the fine print). The other thing I found shady was their "pet remediation fee." I have a 7lb. short haired chihuahua service dog who goes everywhere with me and I have never heard of this. They clarified that it was a $150 to $250 fee for pet hair removal and damage IF NEEDED. I said, "oh that's fine then because I know he won't damage anything and he doesn't even shed." So before leaving I asked for a walk through in person to ensure I would not be charged. They resisted and finally sent a manager when I said I wouldn't leave until someone walked through with me. The manager came to say that he couldn't make the decision because they let the cleaning people decide. WHAT??? That's ridiculous!!! That's like dropping your car off at the mechanic with a blank signed check. Who does that??? I challenged him to find one single hair from my dog in the unit and he just continued to say that he can't make the decision and that it would just be a surprise down the road if they were going to charge my card and how much. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HEARD OF SUCH A PRACTICE. COMPLETELY UNETHICAL IN MY OPINION. So bring a pet at your own risk. Good luck.
