Parched
I usually don't write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one. I went to Suit Supply in Yorkville today to see if I could get two suits. I had purchased one about 18 months ago and got some good use out of it. The cut was modern and the fabric was good for daily use and I didn't have to wait to long from purchase to wear. A good "quick and dirty" suit.
As it is my day off I was wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt. I entered the shop and began to look around. There were three salespeople in the store and they were offering cold glasses of water to the customers milling about. I looked at one rack then the other then another. Nobody asked if I needed help. I tried to get the attention of one the salespeople but she was too busy getting water for the couple that had just entered. I pulled suits off the rack, nothing. I tried to get the attention of anther salesperson, she scurried to the back. I stood in the middle of the store for what felt like 5 minutes with two suits in my hand, nothing. I pinched myself to see if I existed. Is this a dream? Do I exist? Am I really here? Water swishing past me to be handed to customers entering the store. Rather than die of thirst I put the suits down and exited the store. I am giving it one star as the suit I bought 18 moths ago wasn't bad. Too bad I will never buy another.
