Located in Beacon Hill by Home hardware and a golfing shop. It's a decent Good Life Fitness. Fair size. Has all the equipment you a standard gym usually has. Here's a rough break down of the some of the pros and cons for me: Pros: * Staff has always been friendly and helpful. They weren't pushy like other commercial gyms. * Massage chairs.. I know most Good Life's have them but it's still a awesome perk to a gym * Fully equipped change rooms - showers, lockers, sauna, etc * Fitness and spin classes - I have no idea how these classes are but they have them * Clean * Lots of accessory machines for weight lifting * Lots of cardio machines. I have never had to wait for a piece of cardio equipment. * 24/4 gym (I think.. Or maybe it's 24/3) * Fees are reasonable and you get access to other Good Life's, making it convenient to get a workout in if you visit another city or another area of Calgary. Cons: * Some of the equipment is a little run down (rips and tears in benches, worn out cable ropes, missing cable accessories, etc) * Only 2 squat racks. This means something during peak periods, such as it might take a while for you to get your workout in. * Actual weight area is pretty small with a lot of things crammed in there. This gets super crowded during peak areas when everyone is trying to find a space to lift. * There definitely isn't enough cable machines and bar accessories Overall it's a decent gym if you live in the northwest area and need somewhere to workout. Good life does its job and has everything you need to bust out a solid workout.
