Before we moved to Montreal, a friend recommended that we try poutine when we arrived. One of the first things we did when we got here was to explore Old Port, so when we passed Montreal Poutine, we decided to give it a try. We sat at a table on the patio by the street so that we could still enjoy Rue St. Paul and Old Montreal while we ate. We asked our waiter what he recommended and he suggested smoked meat poutine and sangria. We weren't disappointed. We have taken all of the people who visit us to eat here. They love the food and they love the area. My only complaint is that the tables are always just a little sticky. A bit of a turn off, but the food and drinks make up for it.
