We have been to this restaurant a few times because it's close to our home and unless I want sushi from Harris Teeter (which isn't actually that bad), we come here. It looks legit with Japanese sushi chefs in the open concept sushi bar, but the sushi just never quite tastes right. It's always a little warm which is concerning with raw fish. Some of their signature rolls are creative and a good mix of flavored once you get over the fact the fish is room temperature or room temp plus.
They've had a sign on the door for several months that they are hiring wait staff, and I certainly hope they find some help soon because the service is super slow. Don't come here in a hurry.
