First and foremost this is a school where students learn cosmetology based skills. Since this is a school, when the stylists graduate they no longer work there so if you like somebody, most likely they won't be there for your next service. I have frequently visited this location, back when this school was Aveda based and throughout and since the transition. Every cut I've received has been good, if not adequate. The price can't be beat and there are instructors to check the work.
I've also gotten a few facials at the salon (Groupon $25 for $50 of service allowed me to get an extra service). The facials are great (include extractions) though the atmosphere isn't up to par since you are in a large room of six beds separated by hanging curtains.
