This was by far the most incredible experience I've had at a dental office. I'm an optometrist myself and have had very mediocre experiences with dentists in town. While my expectations may be higher than the average patient I like to think my required dental work is quite easy. I've never had any cavities, just always need a general exam and cleaning every 6 months. Since we recently moved to this area I decided to give Modern Dental a try.
I was quite impressed with the appointment making process from my initial call to the office. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and willing to get me in as soon as possible despite their fully booked schedule for the following week. I stated it is hard for me to take weekdays off so I requested my cleaning be done the same day as my evaluation. The receptionist had to move things around and get creative with the schedule but was very adamant to get me in. Secondly, she informed me that all their paper work could be accessed online and submitted digitally to ensure the promptness of my exam.
Upon check in, one can note this office wasn't just a regular dental office. It is a completely updated and state of the art office. As expected, the front office staff was as friendly as I expected. I was taken back promptly by the most professional and knowledgeable technician. It made sense that he was overly competent for the job as he did mention that he was a dentist and oral surgeon in his country when I commented on how impressed I was with his abilities.
Dr Edington was great. Excellent bedside manner and despite how busy he was he didn't rush thru my evaluation. He was very personable, professional and at the same time easy going. When he was informed that the dental hygienist would not have time do get my cleaning done until later on in the afternoon (she was fully booked and running behind), Dr Edington didn't want me to have to wait or have to come back so he personally did my cleaning himself. Despite how busy he was, he really made the best effort to assure that my experience at his office was nothing short of impeccable.
I look forward to making Modern Dental and Dr Edington my lifelong family dentist. I scheduled my husband an appointment to come in and will refer all of my friends, family and staff to their office.
