yummmmmmmm! i've been on a huge caribbean food kick lately, and was pretty excited to find this place on yelp so close to my home!
the husband and i ventured out for our friday night date to get some takeout for our hulu-time. we so crazy. we ordered the oxtail stew ($11.50), the jerk chicken ($9.50), and the curry beef roti ($8.50). it was all pretty delish.
it wasn't the BEST oxtail stew i've had recently, but it was pretty darn good, with awesome portions! the jerk chicken was pretty tasty, but could have used some hot sauce and a good kick. the roti was SO GOOD - and is apparently an entree, and not an appetizer as some would think. hahaha. we really enjoyed the rice with beans - YUM! and the accompanying slaw is actually a really great foil to the entrees.
the family that runs this place are nice, but could be a bit friendlier. either way, we will definitely be back!
