In this town where specialized computer parts are concerned, pretty much everyone knows about Memory Express, and then there's everyone else. But among those are the 2 Computer Rack stores in Calgary (and the 3rd in Toronto), a friendly association of stores that also knows computer parts and knows them well. While not admittedly having the same scale as Memory, they do have an interesting selection of components and parts that most stores don't seem to carry. More importantly, they also have a better selection on individual parts and miscellaneous connections than pretty much any computer store in the city, at better overall pricing as well. Joel, in the South store, is pretty much a font of knowledge, as he runs the business with his family and staff. His recommendations are treated by a fair number of techs in the city like gold. Overall, I like the store, and it has the personal touch to everything. It's in a new location with an especially interesting toy store next door, which is for another review. PS: He also offers standard computer services like custom builds, virus removal and repairs, all at reasonable pricing. #45 of Yelp's 30-Day review Challenge
