Spent many an evening studying here - all-purpose location for students and friends.
Highlights: summer concerts on the lakefront, good beer at the Rathskellar (and they also serve it on the outdoor terrace, where they're lax enough not to force everyone to show i.d.), Babcock ice cream, TV-show sports events, view of Lake Mendota, made some strong friendships over pitchers of Capital Amber.
Lowlight: Food is not as good as what is available on State St. and sometimes the mosquitoes get the upper hand.
