Where to start with how terrible of an apartment complex this is! When we first moved in to this property it was owned by Camden and they ran things very smoothly and efficiently. The issues all started with the new leasing company which is AMC. They advertise that they have 3 pools but they had the one by our unit closed for a majority of the summer. The rent is overpriced for the square footage of the apartments and the "amenities" that they offer. The employees in the leasing office are completely incompetent and do not know the answer to the most basic of questions. Rekkita (who was a manager) is terrible at following up with residents if they have any issues and was always too "busy" to take your call even when it is urgent. It was a nightmare trying to renew our lease and they attempted to increase our rent by $300 a month. Our water/sewer/trash bill each month would be roughly $50-60 in total and after the new leasing company took over they added an additional $30 charge a month for no apparent reason taking the utility bill close to $100/month. Upon our move out we paid a $90 cleaning fee (which I was fine with). Then they claimed that there was damage to the carpet so we were charged an additional $200 even though we took pictures and the carpet was no where near in bad enough of shape to warrant that. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you are planning on living in Summerlin because this place was a complete and utter joke.
