I have been to this salon 3 times. Unfortunately due to the sheer lack of communication of the staff, and their inability to truly understand customers requirements, this establishment. First time, wash & blow dry listed as $25.00. The woman looks at my hair and says "might be more." She starts washing it, she says "I think i have to charge you $30." She starts drying it and says "I think I have to make it $35." She did a great job but at the end she said "washing the hair is extra." Awkward! Next time i went there i asked for the same lady, she just sat there. She had another woman start my hair and then finish my hair. I guess she did not understand. The last time was the most hilarious. She was waxing and she tried to use a roller wax applicator that touches everyone's skin. I said no. She said, it is going to be more if i use the regular technique. Then she used merely ONE cotton wax strip over 10 times till it was so cogged up it didnt grip the hair anymore, then she tried to scold me for having hair that was too short? I had to instruct her how to wax. It was sad. I called ahead of time and they said it was clear and I made an appointment. Appointments should take priority over walk ins. The woman said she had to rush through me because there were walk ins. There were 3 other staff just sitting around. There is a girl at reception who is likely 15 years old and extremely confused about how to calculate bills and operate point of sale technology.
