I went in to eat there this evening but saw a guy smoking an e-cigarette in the kitchen. Is that legal? ... No, it's not. I just looked it up. In Allegheny County Health Department's Food Safety rules, http://www.achd.net/food/pubs/pdf/art03.pdf, section 307.2 says "Employees shall not use tobacco or e-cigarettes in any form while engaged in food preparation or service, while in areas used for food preparation, or equipment and utensil washing areas."
I would never smoke an e-cigarette, myself, and I don't want those chemicals in my food. I left Aiello's before ordering.
