Sigh... I was hoping to give this place a great review. I had seen the reviews other Yelpers had given and I was expecting some mouth orgasmic greatness. However I was left with just a tease of pleasure. The location isn't great, however how much control does one have over that. The shop is small with a few seats for a quick coffee and a pastry. The pastry shelves were really empty and their reasoning was they were pretty busy and ran out. If this is a common occurrence I would expect them to have a larger number of pastries baked to keep up with the business. I felt like I barely got a taste of what this pastry shop could offer. I ended up getting their cream puff, lemon tart and pear tart. They were good and had the tastes I expected. The cream puff was very light and felt like a salty sweet cloud. The pear tart was more crusty pie than pear because it only had a slice of pear in the middle; wheres the flavor? The lemon tart was the best of the three with a nice sour and tart taste with a great smooth lemon curd. I would like to re-review this at a later time after going back here again hopefully at an earlier time where they have more options. I need a second look, however with what they offered me at this time I am left unimpressed.
