I'm giving it three stars because the food was delicious. I won't give it 5 because I was so on edge the whole time my friend and I were eating. It was a slow night there, and there were more staff on than patrons.
I love it when servers are attentive at restaurants, but our waitress was clearly trying to rush us out the door. She asked my friend if she wanted a to go box while we were still eating. My friend also asked her for a to go sweet tea and she said she could bring her a cup, but that she wouldn't give her a fresh one.
The whole time one of the staffers glared at me. I know this wasn't just in my head because when I went to go pay she turned around to continue staring at me. I was made to feel so uncomfortable the whole dinner.
I suggest getting Amalfi to go. The food was great, but the service was awful.
