There's some really good chicken places in Montreal, but Romados might be my new favorite. When we grabbed an Uber from the hotel, our driver said we're going to a good spot, so that's a plus. My original plan was to go to Coco Rico, but they're "only" 4 stars and Romados was 4.5*, so I figured I'd try a new place. So glad I did! There wasn't much of a line when we showed up, and I think we were lucky. Guy at the counter was friendly, letting us try the spicy sauce for the fries to make sure it wasn't too spicy for him. We ended up splitting a half chicken and a small poutine and it was plenty for us. Cash only, but both dishes came out to under $20 I believe. Seriously this chicken is amazing, and makes me wish we had better chicken shops like this in San Diego. I guess I have to head back to Montreal with haste!
